I am a bad girl! It’s procrastination central in Western Toronto…anyone else with me on this one? For years I have admired those that set out for early deals like “Christmas in July”. Not me. Christmas Eve shopping with sweaty palms has become a tradition, embracing a clear addiction to the adrenaline rush that last minute preparations bring on.
Unbelievably I waited until today to buy a free-range turkey. Went to Rowe Farms thinking nothing of it until they told me I just bought the last one! Luck….turkey;)
Then on to standing in lines at the Cheese Boutique, my favorite specialty food store in Toronto. The Pristine Family runs this phenomenal store and it has absolutely every luxury item you could think of. They even greeted us with a slice of cake to make the crowds more bearable.
And yet I still have a laundry list of incomplete tasks, agh!
Time for a quick hassle free meal: Soft tacos with Chicken. Easy, tasty and relatively healthy.
